There are some truly great things about living in Britain. For one, they speak the language. Pretty handy. It has some magnificent scenery, some truly unique points of interest and on top of this, it has a way of life that is very familiar to all those who have grown up here.
However, it also has lousy weather, relatively high crime rates and a rapidly shrinking amount of room for us all to fit into.
Many people stay put living in their own country simply due to the fact that it is all they have ever known and that the idea of moving abroad is one that very rarely gets discussed by people. However, moving to France, the country with one of the most consistently high standards of life for its citizens can offer many benefits.
A move abroad can be good for many reasons, not only does it force us to move outside of our safety zone and truly open ourselves up to new experiences but moving to France can also bring about many other benefits too. Firstly, there are health benefits, with the country’s infrastructure being extremely strong and the healthcare service being extremely well run, but more importantly, there is the boost to happiness. With weather that ranges from mild to exotic, the ability to escape to the sun will never be far away and even the coldest weather is unlikely to bring the country to its knees like in Britain.
It is not just France, but anywhere from moving to Switzerland through to a move to Spain could offer far more benefits than staying put. Moving to Switzerland has a pace of life more suited to many, and natural beauty that is almost unmatched.
The majority of people live their whole lives a very short distance from where they were born, and whilst moving abroad isn’t for everyone, trying it and experiencing something new probably is.
