Maximising Office Space

Making the most of your office space is important for many reasons. The more space you use up efficiently, the more cost effective your business will be, but also the more that people will be able to get done. Maximising your office space isn’t necessarily just about cramming in as many staff as possible, but also about being able to be flexible and adjust your space as your needs change, whilst also ensuring that your rooms are organised in a sensible way to maximise your staff’s ability and potential.

Keeping Your Workplace Focussed

Having focus within your workplace is integral for productivity. However, there also needs to be a fine balance between keeping the workplace focussed and creating an atmosphere that is stifling to both creativity and enjoyment. People need to feel comfortable, but not so comfortable that they get no work done.

Balancing the two can be very hard. Much of it is to do with how you treat your staff. If you are fair and supportive, they will simply want to achieve their best for you, whereas if you come across tyrannical they may well feel obliged to try and get more work done, but they will rarely go out of their way to do it to the best of their ability. With morale low, the workplace will suffer in many different ways.

Motivating Staff

It can sometimes seem like a hard job to motivate staff. After all, as much as we might like it to be the case, not every member of staff will actually want to be there. Whilst every workplace will have people there who really wish to succeed in what they are doing, others will be there simply because they need to pay the bills somehow, and the job they have is simply a way of doing that.

How to Sell Your Home

When to sell, how much to sell for and who to sell through are just three of the questions people will be faced with when attempting to sell their homes. There is far more to selling a home than simply putting it on the market and waiting for the offers to come flooding in, and from knowing how best to present your home to buyers to understanding how to get the highest price possible, there is plenty to bear in mind.

Why Become a PA?

It is easy to understand why many people can’t see the allure in being a Personal Assistant. After all, in the eyes of many, the name conjures up images of dogsbodies bending to their master’s every whim, rushing around after them and doing the little things they simply have no interest in. To other people, a PA sounds like it will be nothing but a jumped up secretarial role.

Keeping Your Business Clean

We all know that looks aren’t everything. And yet, when it comes to creating a good impression, they can certainly be very important. When adverse weather comes along, many premises can find themselves swamped with muddy footprints and streams of dirty water. As a result, they look far from their best and, whether an office or a shop, those visiting the premises will often be put off by the dirty floors they see.
